The township of Flinders, at the entrance to Western Port Bay boast this magnificent pier. Flinders Pier is a popular spot for promenading, recreational fishing, diving as well as being a base for commercial aquaculture and fishing.  I was privileged to be walking on the beach under the pier one beautiful spring morning.
A perspective that draws you into the distance, seemingly forever, detail that enables you to see something extra each time you look, symmetry but not quite and a sense of tranquility all combine to produce one of my very special images.

The pier is about to undergo major upgrade.
